Controversy surrounds today's election for chief and council of the Na-Cho Nyak Dun First Nation in Mayo.
Former Chief Ed Champion, who was removed from office by council in January, has said the vote is illegitimate.
The First Nation hasn't commented on why Champion was removed, other than to say it was for "unbecoming" conduct.
Albert Genier and former chief Simon Mervyn are running for the top job.
Na-Cho Nyak Dun citizens can vote at polls in Mayo and Whitehorse from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
