Catch some of the best up-and-coming Canadian films airing in Yellowknife

CBC North is sponsoring Western Arctic Moving Pictures' Canadian Movie Club in Yellowknife.
Based in the N.W.T. capital, Western Arctic Moving Pictures (WAMP) is a non-profit Canadian arts organization that exists to produce, support and promote independent film, video and digital media arts made in Canada, particularly in the N.W.T.
This May, there is one movie to watch at the Capitol Theatre in Yellowknife in collaboration with L'Association franco-culturelle de Yellowknife.
May 11 at 4 p.m. features the French film Bergers/Shepherds. This movie is a French-Canadian drama that follows the main character Mathyas. Previously an advertising executive in Montreal, Mathyas decides on pursuing the simple life of a shepherd in Provence.
Bergers/Shepherds is directed by Sophie Deraspe and features Félix-Antoine Duval, Solène Rigot, Younes Boucif. The film will be screened in French with English Subtites.
