CBC North has cancelled its Late Night newscast as a result of budget cuts the network announced Thursday morning.
The 10-minute daily wrap-up of news and weather airs weeknights just after The National.
About $130 million will be cut from the corporation's budget across the country, resulting in 657 job losses. Six positions will be cut at CBC North across all three territories.
It's not clear exactly when CBC North Late Night will go off the air or what other radio and TV programs across the territories could be affected.
