Two displaced and one animal missing following Torbay house fire
The RNC are still investigating the source of the fire

Police are investigating after a fire at a home on Bauline Line in Torbay, N.L. on Friday.
The Torbay Volunteer Fire Department responded to the house fire shortly after 6:00 p.m., said fire Chief Rodney Gaudet.
He said fire fighters were met with heavy smoke and heavy flames upon arriving. Gaudet said there was extensive damage to the home including a collapsed roof.
There was no one home at the time and therefore no injuries reported. However, one animal was presumed to be inside but the fire department could not find it.
The two residents of the building have been displaced by the blaze.
The Town of Torbay put out a notice on social media around 8:00 p.m. warning residents of a major traffic disruption.
They also alerted residents of low water pressure and discolouration as a result, advising them to run the tap until water is clear.

The scene has been released to the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary, who are investigating the cause of the fire.
