Trailer released for film Arrival starring Mark O'Brien

Newfoundland and Labrador actor Mark O'Brien can be seen in a just released trailer for Denis Villeneuve's new film Arrival.

O'Brien plays Captain Marks, who works alongside a military colonel played by Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker.

The film also stars Amy Adams, as a linguist trying to communicate with aliens who have landed on Earth, and Jeremy Renner, who plays a physicist. 

O'Brien, who played Des Courtney on Republic of Doyle for five seasons, can be seen in the movie when it comes to theatres on November 11.
