St. John's taxi driver assaulted, robbed

Police in St. John's responded to taxi driver being robbed near Carpasian Road early Sunday morning.

Just before 7 a.m., a female taxi driver reported that she was assaulted and robbed by a man and woman.

The two ran away after the robbery, leaving the taxi driver with a minor injury.

The RNC said no weapon was used in the attack.
