A St. John's animal rescue group hosted an event on Sunday where people interested in adopting an animal could ask questions and meet some four-legged friends.
A St. John's animal rescue group held its annual pet adoption day on Sunday.
Beagle Paws organized the event at Mazol Shriner's Club on Topsail Road so the public could meet members of the various animal groups around the city.
Some of the groups represented included Greyhound Pets NL, Purfect Purrs Cat Rescue, Beagle Paws, Gobble Yums, FurEver Young and Dynamic Canines.
Beagle Paws hosts the annual event, in hopes of getting people to consider adopting a pet, rather than buying from a breeder.
Check out some of what people had to say in the video player.
