MusicNL: Industry awards recognize those behind the music

MusicNL has handed out some hardware during awards week in Corner Brook.

While the main awards gala is Sunday evening, MusicNL recognized some of the hard-working people who work behind the scenes on Saturday.  

Chad Pelley of The Overcast took home the Media Person of the Year award.

Tony Murray was named Industry Professional of the Year.

The award for Graphic Artist went to Jud Haynes, while MusicNL named The Overcast as Outstanding Company.

Springdale teacher Adam Baxter won Music Educator of the Year; and Don-E Coady earned a MusicNL trophy for Volunteer of the Year.
