Police investigation leads to fraud, theft charges against HMP inmate
After a two-month investigation, the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has arrested and charged a man with theft and fraud.
After a two-month investigation, the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has arrested and charged a man with fraud and theft, in relation to a St. John's hotel.
Police made the arrest Saturday at Her Majesty's Penitentiary, where the 30-year-old man is being held on other charges.
The accused is charged with three counts of fraud, one count of theft under $5,000, and breach of a court order.
The RNC said the hotel is located on Kenmount Road.
