St. John's Morning Show announces winner after 4-month battle of books

NL Reads 2021 Winner The Woman in the Attic (NLPL)

Today on the St. John's Morning Show, Emily Hepditch's Woman in the Attic (Flanker Press Ltd.) won the province's title of must-read novel of 2021.

The Newfoundland and Labrador Public Libraries (NLPL) featured four books by local authors in a local campaign that is aimed at supporting authors and encouraging literacy.

Don't worry – just because the contest is over doesn't mean you can't get your hands on one of the four books. Multiple copies are available at the NLPL branches (check local COVID protocols), as well as unlimited, simultaneous digital access on NLPL's eLibrary

A huge congratulations to this year's winner and all of the local authors who participated in this year's NL Reads.
