Armed man robs Breen's Deli in St. John's
The masked suspect demanded cash before fleeing the scene on foot Monday night.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is investigating an armed robbery at a St. John's convenience store and deli Monday night.
Around 6 p.m., police responded to a call of an armed robbery at the Breen's Deli on Portugal Cove Road, at the intersection of Kerry Street.
The lone robber was masked and believed to have been carrying a firearm when he demanded cash.
The suspect fled the scene on foot.
Police said the incident is still under investigation.
