Tyler Noel arrested in Petitcodiac, wanted for murder of Baylee Wylie
Codiac RCMP have confirmed Noel was apprehended near Petitcodiac, N.B., around 1 p.m. Saturday

Police have arrested Tyler Noel, who has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of a Moncton man.
Codiac RCMP have confirmed Noel, 18, was apprehended near Petitcodiac, N.B., around 1 p.m. Saturday.
Const. Julie Rogers-Marsh says police were called to a break in at a cottage in Elgin yesterday around noon. She says that led them to Petitcodiac where police arrested Noel, who they say was in a car at the time.
There were two other people in the vehicle, police say.
Police say the other two people were arrested. As of Sunday at noon they remained in custody.
Noel is scheduled to appear in Moncton provincial court Jan. 13 at 9:30 a.m.
Family reacts
Wylie's aunt, Angie Wylie, issued a statement on behalf of the family after Noel's apprehension.
"Yesterday was a good day for us. We received notice that Tyler Noel had been captured at approx 3 p.m. If you could only understand the feeling of relief as my sister heard across the phone that they had him," Angie Wyle wrote in a text message to CBC News.
"Now we just need to concentrate our efforts on finding Marissa. Anyone who has even a tip no matter how small please call it in. All it takes is one person."
A day earlier, Wylie's mother, Amanda Wylie, made a public appeal after attending a court appearance for Devon Morningstar on Jan. 8 at the Moncton Law Courts.
"We need justice for Baylee, so we've been sharing it all over Facebook and nobody seems to be finding these two people," she said.
"I just want to plead with the public that they help find these two people, that they help bring my son ... justice."
Morningstar, 18, is in custody. He has also been charged with first-degree murder and has been sent for a 30-day psychiatric assessment.
Sought by police for weeks
RCMP have been searching for Noel and Marissa Shephard, 20, since they were charged with first-degree murder and arson in connection with 18-year old Baylee Wylie's death.
The pair were named as persons of interest after Wylie's body was discovered after an early-morning house fire in Moncton on Dec. 17.

Canada-wide warrants were issued for the pair on Dec. 28, days after the charges were laid and a local warrant was issued.
RCMP say the focus now is on capturing Shephard.
"She's still at large at this time. But certainly a development to have located and arrested Tyler Noel," said Rogers-Marsh.
Police had warned that the pair were considered dangerous because of the violent nature of the crime, and that anyone helping them hide could face serious charges as well.
