Saguenay film company holding auditions in La Baie, Que. for online show on Jan. 30
A Saguenay film company is giving ice fishermen in La Baie, Que. a chance to show off their fishing shacks online and have them decked out for free.
The online series, called Pimp ma cabane, is based on the popular reality TV concept of home-renovation shows.
Producer Philippe Belley is inviting fishermen in the l'Anse à Benjamin area of La Baie, Que. to audition on Jan. 30 for a pilot episode. He said he's looking for all kinds of shacks and owners.
"What we're looking for in a cabin could be the most modest to the most grandiose," Belley explained. "We are open to anything."
Interested people can apply to audition on the company's Facebook page.
The company has permission from the City of Saguenay to do the renovations on the ice.
The filming is scheduled for Feb. 13 and 14.
