1 dead after multi-vehicle crash on Turcot Interchange

Quebec provincial police are investigating a multi-vehicle collision and possible hit-and-run on the Turcot Interchange, in Montreal, that left one person dead Sunday.
Emergency services were called around 6 a.m. to Highway 15 southbound at the ramp connecting to Highway 136 eastbound.
One person was found dead at the scene, said Sûreté du Québec (SQ) spokesperson Adam Marineau.
Another person, a minor, was also brought to hospital for preventative measures but with no major injuries.
One of the vehicles involved in the incident may have fled the scene, he said.
The SQ's major crimes unit has taken over the investigation.
The ramp connecting to Highway 136 eastbound is closed for an indeterminate period.
