This Sunday will mark four years since a 7.0-magnitude earthquake devastated Haiti and killed tens of thousands of people.
Michaëlle Jean, the UNESCO special envoy to Haiti and Canada's former governor general, is heading back to her home country today to commemorate the anniversary.
CBC spoke with Jean about Haiti's progress, and how far it's come since the 2010 quake that struck outside Port-au-Prince.
