Police investigating suspicious death of couple in their 70s in Boucherville, Que.

The couple was identified as Michel Gosselin, 73, and Ginette Gosselin, 71, Radio-Canada learned. Their bodies were found in a home on Champagne Street in Boucherville, Que.

Police on Montreal's South Shore are investigating the suspicious deaths of a couple in their 70s.

The couple was identified as Michel Gosselin, 73, and Ginette Gosselin, 71, Radio-Canada learned. Their bodies were found in a home on Champagne Street in Boucherville, Que.

Longueuil police responded to a 911 call around 8:45 a.m. to assist a person in distress. When they arrived, they found two people dead, according to a statement on the police service's Facebook page.

"At this time, we are considering the deaths of both victims as suspicious," the post reads.

A crime scene investigation is underway.
