Popular comedian makes surprise appearance ahead of 10-show run at Place des Arts
Apparently 10 isn't enough.
Dave Chappelle, who is now booked for a 10-show run at Place des Arts, decided to add another appearance to his packed Just for Laughs schedule last night.
Shortly after arriving on a flight from New York City, Chapelle took the stage at the 100-capacity Théâtre Saint-Catherine and performed a near-hour long set — to the delight of the surprised audience.
Chappelle is set to begin his run at Place des Arts tonight with shows at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. It continues until July 24.
Some tickets are still available.
