What would you like for the future of Brossard? CBC wants to hear from you
Ahead of the municipal election, you'll be seeing us around the city
Starting today, CBC Quebec will be in Brossard — and we want to hear from you.
Across the province, voters will decide on Nov. 7 who they want to run their municipality. Ahead of the race for mayor and city council in Brossard, we want to know: what are the challenges and opportunities that people should know about? What needs to be addressed, discussed or debated?
Our community bureau in Brossard will make telling us what you think about these issues easier than ever before.
How it will work
From Sept. 28 to Nov. 7, CBC Quebec mobile journalist Matt D'Amours will be working from various locations around the fast-growing city of Brossard.
Our goal is to hear from you — issues that matter in your community, and what concerns and hopes you have for its future.
Where to find us:
- Sept. 28 to Oct. 9: Café Kuya (1200 Rome Boulevard, Local M, J4W 3H3). Drop in to this new specialty coffee shop to meet Matt, who will be working from there. This is an opportunity to have an informal chat about what you think are the most pressing issues that your community is currently facing.
- Oct. 12 to Oct. 22: Champlain College (900 Riverside Street, J4P 3P2). Matt will be taking part in several activities with students at the South Shore CEGEP, and you'll find him working in a student space pod.
- Oct. 25-Nov. 5: Matt heads back to Café Kuya (1200 Rome Boulevard, Local M, J4W 3H3).
