Two guards tied up, but uninjured
Provincial police are looking for two suspects who robbed an armoured van last night in Saint-Lazare, west of Montreal.
The thieves targeted a G4S security company vehicle at about 11 p.m., in the parking lot outside the Banque Nationale on Saint-Angélique Road.
Police say at least one of the suspects had a firearm.
Sgt. Ingrid Asselin of the Sûreté du Québec said the suspects tied up the two guards working for the security company and stole an undisclosed amount of money.
"The suspects fled and now our investigators are on the scene and are interviewing the victims," said Asselin on Friday morning.
Asselin said the guards were not physically injured.
