RCMP are investigating after a 22-year-old woman was killed in a snowmobiling accident in Pukatawagan.
The woman was snowmobiling around 6 p.m. in the community when she fell off the back of the vehicle. RCMP said she was hit by a quad following closely behind.
She was rushed to a nearby nursing station with life-threatening injuries but did not survive.
She was not wearing a helmet when she fell.
A traffic reconstructionist is now working on the case, and RCMP said they believe both speed and alcohol contributed to the crash.
