Police search for suspects in 2-year-old Winnipeg homicide case

Winnipeg police are asking for the public's help in finding two people as they continue to investigate a murder that happened two years ago.

Winnipeg police are asking for the public's help in finding a pair of suspects in connection to a homicide that happened two years ago.

Police say they're looking for two people who were in the area of Flora Avenue near McKenzie Street on April 20, 2022, around the same time Steven Andrew Mingo was murdered.

The 30-year-old's body was found inside a home on Flora Avenue around 6:30 that morning when emergency crews responded to a fire. Officers confirmed his death was a homicide the following day.

Investigators are asking anyone with information on the murder to come forward. They are asked to call the homicide unit at 204-986-6508, anonymously with Crime Stoppers at 204-786-8477 (TIPS) or submit a tip online.
