Winnipeg man faces charges of sexual assault, sexual interference involving teenage girl
Girl told police man befriended her, lured her to a home and sexually assaulted her in late 2023

A 25-year-old man in Winnipeg has been arrested after a teenage girl told police she was lured to a home and sexually assaulted in 2023.
The girl was befriended by a man who lured her to a home near Graham Avenue and Vaughan Street in November and December 2023, police said in a news release on Wednesday.
The man provided her with drugs and alcohol at the home, and she was sexually assaulted, the girl told police.
Investigators identified a suspect and he was arrested on Monday on Vaughan Street near St. Mary Avenue.
The 25-year-old man from Winnipeg has been charged with sexual assault, sexual interference and obtaining sexual services from a person under the age of 18.
He was detained in custody.
