Province warns of possible measles exposure at Gretna Elementary School, 3 Winkler locations
Manitoba has had 10 confirmed cases, 4 probable cases so far this year

Health officials are warning the public about possible exposure to measles at a number of southern Manitoba locations in late April, including a medical centre, a retail store and an elementary school.
Three of the four possible exposure locations are in Winkler, and the other is in Gretna, the province said in a Saturday news release.
Anyone who went to the Gretna Elementary School at 622 Ninth St. between April 22 and April 24 from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. may have been exposed to measles and should monitor symptoms until May 16, the province said.
Manitoba public health officials have been in talks with the school to notify families, staff and volunteers.
Health authorities are also warning about possible measles exposure at the Winners store at 777 Norquay Dr. in Winkler on April 27. Anyone who visited the store between 7:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. should monitor symptoms until May 19.
The other two sites in Winkler are the C.W. Wiebe Medical Centre and Dynacare blood and medical test lab, both located at 385 Main St.
The province said people who were at either site on April 24 from 8:47 a.m. to 6:45 p.m., April 25 from 8:45 a.m. to 6:59 p.m. and April 29 from 8:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. should monitor for measles symptoms, which generally appear seven to 21 days after exposure.
People can learn about the symptoms of measles and what to do on the government of Manitoba website.
Manitoba had seen 10 confirmed measles cases and four probable cases this year as of April 26, according to the most recent provincial data.
