1 dead after stolen SUV rolls on Manitoba highway

A 23-year-old man died after a stolen SUV crashed on a Manitoba highway.

RCMP called to crash site around 9 a.m. Wednesday near Camperville, Man.

A 23-year-old man is dead after a stolen SUV crashed on a Manitoba highway.

RCMP got a call about the crash on Highway 20 near Camperville, Man., around 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Police say the driver of the SUV stolen from Dauphin, Man., lost control and the vehicle rolled.

The 23-year-old from Dauphin, Man., was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 22-year-old man was also in the vehicle and has minor injuries.

Police said it's unclear which man was driving the SUV at the time or when the vehicle was stolen.

Camperville is around 315 kilometres northwest of Winnipeg.
