The Manitoba Museum is looking for a new home for a massive sarcophagus.

The museum is inviting bids on the 2.4 metre high structure – but is setting the minimum price tag at $2,000.

The giant structure was made by local artists for the museum’s Wrapped: The Mummy of Pesed exhibit and has spent the entire bone-chilling winter outdoors.

Museum officials said the sarcophagus actually cost the museum $12,000.

The museum’s Egyptian mummy exhibit will remain on display until April 6.
