A man was caught driving at over 200 km/h on the Trans-Canada highway in western Manitoba Thursday evening, RCMP say.
Blue Hills RCMP Cpl. Mike Boychuk said officers were doing routine traffic patrols just outside of Brandon when they noticed a car breaking away from a group of vehicles on the highway.
The RCMP officer's radar showed the car was going 202 km/h, Boychuk said.
Officers pulled the man over and arrested him for dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
The man, a 41-year-old from Brandon, is expected in court in June.
