Winnipeg brothers Joey and David Landreth were in studio Friday with CBC host Ismaila Alfa playing a pair of songs and talking about their upcoming tour. 

The band took home the Roots and Traditional Album of the Year at the 2015 JUNO Gala Dinner and Awards for their album Let it Lie

"The Brothers Landreth specialize in love gone bad and cowboy lullabies," according to the band's Facebook page.

The band plays at Winnipeg's Burton Cummings Theatre in October. As of Friday night, tickets were almost sold out.
