Teen boy faces charges after handgun fired in busy Winnipeg shopping mall
A 15-year-old boy was arrested Tuesday afternoon at one of Winnipeg's busiest shopping malls after he allegedly pulled out a handgun and fired it.
Police called about several teens showing handgun in Polo Park food court

A 15-year-old boy was arrested Tuesday afternoon at one of Winnipeg's busiest shopping malls after he allegedly pulled out a handgun and fired it.
Winnipeg police went to Polo Park on Tuesday shortly before 3 p.m. after being called about several young men showing a handgun in a public area.
Mall security said the firearm had also been discharged, police said in a news release on Wednesday.
Security kept tabs on the boys until police arrived at the food court, where two arrests were made and an airsoft pistol was seized.
No injuries were reported.
The 15-year-old faces charges of possession of a weapon and causing a disturbance. The other youth was released without charges.
