Jean-Paul (J.P.) Beaumont, 39, was found dead on Oct. 14. His death prompted an investigation by the Brandon Police Service and the RCMP.

Beaumont's death "has been determined to be non-criminal," Brandon police said in a release Wednesday.

Police did not release any other details about its investigation, citing privacy issues.

Court documents show police believe Beaumont was a full-patch member of the Rock Machine and was the biker gang's highly placed sergeant-at-arms.
