Man, 36, killed in rollover in western Manitoba

A 36-year-old man died after being thrown from a pickup truck during a rollover in western Manitoba.

A 36-year-old man died after being thrown from a pickup truck during a rollover in western Manitoba.

The man, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was one of four men in the truck. Another man received minor injuries while the driver and other passenger were uninjured, RCMP said.

It happened around 12:40 p.m. Monday on a gravel road northeast of the community of Rossburn.

The driver lost control and the truck flipped. The man who died, from the community of Russell, was a passenger in the front seat, police said.

Alcohol is not considered to be a factor at this time.
