Woman dies in rollover west of Lake Manitoba

A 31-year-old woman is dead after the vehicle she was driving rolled off a Manitoba highway west of Lake Manitoba and ended up in a ditch around 9 a.m. Monday.

Crash happened near Alonsa, Man.

A 31-year-old woman is dead after the vehicle she was driving rolled off a Manitoba highway west of Lake Manitoba and ended up in a ditch around 9 a.m. Monday.

The woman, from Ebb and Flow First Nation, was pronounced dead at the crash site on Highway 50, about one kilometre south of Silver Ridge, in the rural municipality of Alonsa.

She was the only person in the car, RCMP said.

The cause of the crash hasn't been confirmed.

The crash marks the sixty-fifth death from a fatal collision in Manitoba this year.
