The muddy puddle is approximately 10 centimetres deep and about a metre wide. It's located on Whyte Avenue near Vine Street in the city's Weston neighbourhood.

The area is part residential, part industrial and one visitor staying on the street, Earl Spong, said heavy trucks have widened the pothole.

As of 3:45 p.m. on Friday a City of Winnipeg spokesperson told CBC it had filled the pothole.

The city encourages all citizens to report potholes to 311 by phone or email at [email protected].
