Cyclist sexually assaults woman

A 31-year-old woman was sexually assaulted while jogging in Winnipeg's St. James neighbourhood.

A 31-year-old woman was sexually assaulted while jogging in Winnipeg's St. James neighbourhood.

According to police, she was in the area of Ness Avenue and Sackville Street around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday when a teen boy on a bicycle came up behind her and groped her lower body.

The teen continued riding past her before returning towards the woman again, police said.

She screamed at him, which prompted him to ride off, police said.

The suspect is described as about 15 years old, with short black hair, spiked in front and longer in the back, where some of it was dyed orange.

He was wearing sweatpants and earphones, and was riding a dark coloured mountain bike.
