A 17-year-old boy is dead and an 18-year-old man is in hospital in serious condition after a car crashed into a hydro pole along a busy Winnipeg street on Tuesday night.
Northbound St. Mary's Road is closed at Guay Avenue and traffic is being diverted

A 17-year-old boy is dead and an 18-year-old man is in hospital in serious condition after a car crashed into a hydro pole along a busy Winnipeg street on Tuesday night.
The car, driven by the 18-year-old, crashed on St. Mary's Road at Guay Avenue around 9 p.m., police said.
The 17-year-old passenger was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at hospital.
Northbound St. Mary's was closed in the area for more than 12 hours before reopening late Wednesday morning.
