In 2023, CBC Manitoba's Creator Network started showcasing the work of local filmmakers as part of the Absolutely Canadian series on CBC Gem. Since then countless 'Absolutely Manitoba' documentaries have been seen across the country.

These short docs have explored the unique stories, passions and challenges of ordinary people doing remarkable things in their lives. Two of them have been recently announced as first-round nominees in the Documentary POV (Point of View) category at the 2025 Yorkton Film Festival - North America's longest running film festiva l- taking place May 22-24, 2025 in Yorkton, Saskatchewan.

Relationship Remix, a 44-minute Black Space Manitoba film co-created and co-produced by Sharpe for CBC's Absolutely Canadian documentary series. Relationship Remix shares advice from a wedding planner working with mixed couples and from couples like Sharpe and his wife Sonya.

Voices of Freedom chronicles Ukraine-born Winnipeg musician Tetyana Haraschuk's journey of processing the war through music, and follows her as she talks to Ukrainian refugees about their experiences.
