Friday will mark one year since Colten Pratt, 27, disappeared, and Winnipeg police now say the last place he might have been seen was a Main Street bus shelter.

New information suggests Pratt was at the bus shelter at the corner of Main Street and Redwood Avenue, near the Billy Mosienko bowling alley, in the early morning hours of Nov. 7, 2014, police said.

Police previously said Pratt was last seen leaving the Marlborough Hotel on Smith Street at 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 6. He was alone and heading toward Ellice Avenue.

Police have previously released photos taken from a surveillance video at a liquor store near that location.

For Pratt's mother, Lydia Daniels, the anniversary comes with anxiety.

"You wake up thinking of him … go to bed thinking of him. It's an all day … in back of my mind, in the front of my mind," she said, adding her son's disappearance affects her other children.

"Trying to keep them strong and keep them hopeful is something I try to do all the time."

Daniels plans to distribute 100 posters in Winnipeg on Friday. She said she hopes seeing her son's photograph might "trigger a memory" for someone with information.

In the meantime, she is trying to keep up her strength from the prayers she has received from people all over the world, but she said it's still a struggle.

"It's a blank space in my mind and my heart … Often I will fill in that blank space with something positive but oftentimes the darkness comes in as well," she said.

Pratt is described as 5-foot-10, weighing approximately 160 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey T-shirt, brown plaid jacket, blue jeans and a grey tuque, as seen in the photo.

Anyone who is able provide any information that could assist in the investigation is urged to contact the Winnipeg Police Service's missing persons unit at 204-986-6250.
