3 women hurt by same man in 2 different homes in Brandon, police say

Brandon police are looking for a 21-year-old man after three women were hurt in two different homes in the western Manitoba city on Thursday.

Police went to a home on Cornell Bay at about 7:45 a.m. Thursday after a woman reported she was punched several times in the face and head by a man at the home. She said the man had forced his way into the home at about 6:30 a.m., but left before police arrived.

Another woman in the home attempted to intervene and told police that she was hit in the mouth by a beer can before the man fled.

Later in the morning, police were called by another woman who said she was sexually assaulted by the same man at a home in the 1200 block of Ninth Street at about 2:30 a.m.  

Police said he attempted to kiss her and touched her inappropriately, and then punched her before a friend intervened. 

He stole a cellphone before leaving, police said. 

Police have issued an arrest warrant for Quincy Rayden Ross, 21, and tweeted his picture on Friday. He is facing charges of domestic assault, assault with a weapon, sexual assault and theft under $5,000.

Police don't know Ross's current whereabouts, but anyone with information is asked to contact Brandon police at 204-729-2345.

All three women were hurt, but police said their injuries didn't require medical attention.
