Victim of targeted fatal shooting identified as Bill Horace

London police say the victim of a weekend homicide was shot in front of his family in a planned attack.

London police say the victim of a weekend homicide was shot in front of his family in a planned attack.

Bill Horace, 44, suffered one gunshot wound after an altercation inside his home in a residential neighbourhood in London's south-east end. 

Investigators said four suspects forced their way into the home at 232 Pochard Lane, off Gore Road, after arriving in two vehicles at 4:40 a.m. Sunday. 

Horace, who is from Toronto, was transported to hospital by paramedics, where he was pronounced dead. 

London police are looking for four Black men, three of whom were wearing black hospital-style face masks. They also wore hooded sweatshirts.

Investigators said they do not believe this was a random incident.

It's London's second homicide of the year.
