CBC London took its London Morning show on the road Friday when it broadcasted from a city bus.

Host Julianne Hazlewood interviewed community members and city officials who highlighted one of the most contentious topics in the city — transit.

The show went live from a 90 express London Transit Commission bus as it went back and forth along its route between White Oaks Mall and Masonville Mall.

The show included sentiments from LTC general manager Kelly Paleczny, carpooler Dan Fannon, retired bus driver Brian Baker and other guests. It also included a debate on Bus Rapid Transit and what mayoral hopefuls have to say about the proposed plan.

A BRT showdown: Marcus Plowright is a local realtor and contractor and head of Build This City, a pro-BRT group, and Michael Lerner is a lawyer and longtime Londoner who is opposed to BRT.
