CBC Hamilton's Sounds of the Season campaign has raised $3,338.41 for our neighbours in need. 

This annual campaign raises food and funds for Hamilton Food Share. It also raised 10 kg of food. 

Last year, the need was greater than ever. Hamilton Food Share reported a 40 per cent increase in household visits and a 39 per cent increase in children served in 2023. 

Across the province, more than $1 million was raised for food banks in 2022 through the Sounds of the Season campaign.

CBC Hamilton held an afternoon of giving, art and community on Friday, Dec. 8.

This special event featured slam poetry performances by Hamilton You Poets, and students from Bishop Ryan Catholic Secondary School.
