Man arrested, firearm seized in shooting investigation: police
2 schools were put in hold and secure during the investigation

A shooting investigation that temporarily put two schools under a hold and secure led to the arrest of one man and the seizure of a firearm.
Police say officers were called to the area of Wentworth and Cannon Streets around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday after reports shots had been fired.
One man was arrested after a short chase, according to police. A police tracking dog and emergency response unit also helped locate a gun near the scene.
Police say no injuries were reported.
Cathy Wever Elementary School and Cathedral High School were placed into hold and secure while police were in the area.
A tweet from the service said school officers were at the elementary school and that students were safe.
