Hamilton provincial election candidates face off during televised debates this week

Hamilton voters will get a chance to know most of their candidates in all five of Hamilton's provincial ridings during televised debates this week, starting Tuesday night.
Hamilton Centre candidates are first up in the series of debates hosted by Cable 14 and streamed online. CBC Hamilton journalists will be among those asking candidates questions. All candidates from major parties have been invited to take part. Here's the schedule:
- Tuesday, Feb. 18, 7-8:30 p.m.: Hamilton Centre
- Wednesday, Feb. 19, 7-8:30 p.m.: Hamilton East-Stoney Creek
- Wednesday, Feb. 19, 9-10:30 p.m.: Hamilton West-Ancaster-Dundas
- Thursday, Feb. 20, 7-8:30 p.m.: Flamborough-Glanbrook
- Friday, Feb. 21, 7-8:30 p.m.: Hamilton Mountain
The debates will repeat on Cable 14 until election day, Feb. 27, and will be available on YouTube and on demand as of Feb. 23 at cable14NOW.com.
