Niagara-bound QEW lanes closing overnight on Wednesday

All Niagara-bound lanes of the Burlington Skyway QEW will be closed Wednesday night into Thursday, the City of Burlington says.

Lanes are set to reopen Thursday at 6 a.m.

The City of Burlington is advising drivers that all Niagara-bound lanes of the QEW will be closed Wednesday night into Thursday.

In a news release, the city says the Ministry of Transportation will be closing the lanes at 10 p.m. on Wednesday.

"Traffic will be detoured along Eastport Drive," the release reads.

Lanes are scheduled to reopen at 6 a.m. on Thursday.

In case of inclement weather, the closure will be rescheduled, the city said.
