A report from the University of British Colombia says kids are bored with playgrounds. Modern playgrounds fail to stimulate and aren't exciting places to play — but they could be. The project surveyed close to 600 adults over 19 years of age on their opinions of typical playgrounds found today.

She spoke with CBC Hamilton's Conrad Collaco about what's wrong with modern playgrounds and how we can make them better.
