A Hamilton man on a motorcycle has been charged with dangerous driving after police say he was travelling more than twice the 80 km/h speed limit.
A Hamilton man on a motorcycle has been charged with dangerous driving after police say he was travelling more than twice the 80 km/h speed limit.
Ontario Provincial Police say the 42-year-old man was speeding down McClung Road in Caledonia heading south on Monday just after noon when he was seen by an officer.
OPP Constable Rod Leclair said "This dangerous and reckless driving behaviour could have easily ended with injuries or fatalities to the driver or any other motorists or pedestrians in the area."
The man has been charged with racing a motor vehicle. They say his license was seized and suspended for seven days.
Police say his motorcycle has been impounded for seven days as well.
