The two sold-out shows held this week saw longtime fans from both near and far attend, and they weren't disappointed. 

Many people took to social media to share images and sentiments about the performances.

The Hip has been utilizing its massive list of songs written over the last three decades while on tour, including two different setlists in Calgary.

Lead singer Gord Downie recently announced he has terminal brain cancer

The band thanked Calgary as they headed on to the next stop of the tour that ends in Kingston on Aug. 20.

The show will be aired live on CBC.
