Watch the Remembrance Day ceremony from the Military Museums in Calgary and other ways to pay your respects
Military Museums ceremony streamed online by CBC Calgary
COVID-19 has forced many Remembrance Day services to minimize or move online, but there are still many ways to pay your respects today to those who fought and died.
The Remembrance Day service at the Military Museums will be closed to the public this year but was livestreamed online by CBC Calgary and can be seen here.
- WATCH | CBC Calgary livestreamed the Remembrance Day ceremony from the Military Museums in Calgary on Wednesday morning. You can see the full ceremony below.

Kerby Centre
The Kerby Centre will stream its annual service from Kerby Auditorium starting at 10:30 a.m. Those interested in viewing the ceremony must register for free here.
Moving around the city
The lack of in-person Remembrance Day ceremonies in the downtown core and along Memorial Drive mean road closures and detours won't impact traffic this year.
Calgary Transit will operate on a Sunday-service level and it's free for all veterans and their accompanying family members. Veterans must be in uniform or have a veteran identification card to be eligible.

Payment will not be required in on-street ParkPlus zones on Remembrance Day. Holiday rates will be in effect in select Calgary Parking Authority lots and parkades.
Parking is free for veterans with a valid veteran's licence plate at all Calgary Parking Authority facilities except the Calgary Zoo and Telus Spark lots.
What is not open?
All city pools and fitness centres and all arenas and athletic parks (except for advance booking).
All city administrative buildings, including City Hall, will also be closed.
North Mount Pleasant and the Wildflower Art Centres will be closed, as will the Animal Services Centre.
The Royal Canadian Legion has made changes to its annual poppy campaign, which began Oct. 30.
The changes include fewer physical poppies and the introduction of the "digital poppy." Those who want to donate without risk can do so online or in a text-to-donate system, at which point they will receive a digital poppy they can display on screens.
