Police search for 2 men in Lukas Strasser-Hird slaying
Security camera footage shows the pair walking
Calgary police are looking to identify two more people who may have information about the death of Lukas Strasser-Hird.
Officers announced Tuesday that they would like to speak to two people who left the Beltline area in a white import car, possibly a Mitsubishi Lancer. Police released security camera footage showing the pair.
Strasser-Hird died on Nov. 23, 2013, after suffering critical, life-threatening injuries in the alley located at Second Street and 10th Avenue S.W. at about 2:45 a.m. MT. An autopsy confirmed he died from stab wounds.
Several men have been charged in connection with the 18-year-old's death.
“It is believed the victim was involved in two altercations prior to his death. Following the first incident, the victim and his associates were separated from the situation, but a short time later the groups re-engaged outside a downtown bar,” police said in a release on Tuesday.
“As the investigation is ongoing, detectives continue to ask witnesses to come forward and for any related photographs and videos to be made available.”
Any related photographs or videos can be sent to [email protected] and photos can be sent anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
