Man stabbed in northwest Calgary in apparent domestic incident, police say

A woman was arrested late Thursday night after a man was stabbed in what police say appears to be a case of domestic violence.

A woman was arrested late Thursday night after a man was stabbed in what police say appears to be a case of domestic violence in Montgomery.

A man knocked at the door of a home in the 4000 block of Bowness Road N.W. around 9:30 p.m. suffering from stab wounds, police say.

He was taken to hospital and is said to be in stable condition this morning.

Police took a woman into custody at a nearby residence but no charges have been laid yet.

A previous version of this story said the stabbing occurred in West Hillhurst. In fact, the 4000 block of Bowness Road is located in Montgomery.
