Police in southern Alberta have charged a woman in a collision earlier this year that left one pedestrian dead and another critically injured.
Officers responding to the January crash in Lethbridge, Alta., found a 66-year-old man dead at the scene.
A 62-year-old woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later airlifted to Calgary, where she remains in hospital.
The investigation has determined a truck hit the two victims when it was turning left into a crosswalk.
Police say the driver stopped and called 911.
A 33-year-old from Lethbridge is charged with dangerous driving causing death and dangerous driving causing bodily harm and is to appear in court on May 25.
